Dayeon Yoo
I am a Master's student in Computer Engineering at the University of New Mexico, advised by Prof. Milad Marvian. My research focuses on automated qLDPC code discovery and optimization, including hypergraph product and bivariate bicycle codes.
I develop Python and HPC research pipelines using combinatorial search, low-weight logical-operator analysis, BP+OSD decoding, and Monte Carlo evaluation. My broader interests include neural decoding, logical computation, and hardware-aware quantum error correction. Before moving into QEC, I built production software and data-intensive systems for startups and research teams.
